HIKKY Co., Ltd. (HQ: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan CEO: Yasushi Funakoshi) has decided to hold the music convention “MusicVket2” on virtual reality (VR) space for 5 days from March 6th to March 10th, JST (japan standard time). The application for both indy exhibitors and companies has started.

■What is MusicVket?

A variety of events have been canceled due to COVID-19. However, we decided to host this event with the strong will that we should not end the opportunities for indies music creators. Also, MusicVket was born from users’ requests to hold a virtual event themed with music. At MusicVket1 hosted on August 2020, visitors enjoyed meeting with 127 exhibitor groups and five music artists/exhibiting companies. The event marked a total of 80,000 participants and it ended with the great popularity.

 In the venue on virtual reality (VR), visitors enjoy each booth which visualizes sounds in front of the listeners. They can go around the booths, purchase songs, and socialize with other participants including exhibitors. The exhibiting items could be purchased as digital songs or physical CD through online shopping. 

Visitors can access to the event not only through VR device but also PC and smartphones. Even if you have not touched VR devices, it is easy to join the event.
